Apple Vision Pro is a VR headset that doesn’t want to be a VR headset

We understand that you're excited about augmented reality, but it's important to note that the recently unveiled Apple Vision Pro VR/AR headset is actually just a VR headset.

The pass-through feature only renders reality into a digital image.

However, Apple is still heavily focused on AR, which they call Spatial Computing.

The Vision Pro is designed to enhance interactions with digital content at home and work, making 3D experiences more immersive than a movie theater, and even elevating Facetime calls.

Users can also create their own 3D content with the headset.

It remains to be seen if all of this will come to fruition when the headset launches in early 2024, especially with a starting price of $3,500.
