Top 5 Things You Need To Know For The Quest 2

So you just got a quest 2 or had one like a pro and want to know some tips and tricks to help you master this wonderful piece of tech, so here are my top 5 things you need to know

First off the controllers have tiny infrared LEDs all the way around that your headset’s camera uses to track with so don’t cover those up or you will most likely use tracking and your controller will start doing wacky stuff

2nd off is you can skip the power off the menu by just keep holding and it will bypass having to click the button, don’t worry this won't harm it at all like force powering off a pc, it just bypasses you having to click the virtual button to confirm powering off. This is useful if your controllers are dead and can’t click it

3rdly is you can pop off the headband by gentility push outwards while holding it and it will just pop off, under here you will see all the product info and serial number, as well as this, is how you install a 3rd party one and if you need one I got a ton of videos on fantastic quest 2 headband replacements that make it so much better as well as even adds features like extended battery packs and even in-ear headphones and will leave a link below to one I use and enjoy quite a bit

4th thing is your quest 2 has a fan, yeah a lot of people still don’t know this, if you do tell me in the comments, but it actually blows and sucks the air right thru this grove that goes all the way around so don't cover this up with stickers or get gamer dust all over this groove

5th is well one of the most important things many would say, it is that the lenses move in and out in 3 clicks so if your quest 2 is giving you a headache or hard to see,

make sure you’re using it with the right ipd setting and if you find yourself falling in between 2 of the clicks you can actually move them in between 2 clicks gently and will they will stay that way as long as you don’t yeet it around (shake)
