The price reduction will start on June 4, 2023, with the 128 GB model costing $299.99 and the 256 GB model costing $349.99.

The CPU and GPU of the Quest 2 will be optimized through a software update, resulting in up to 26% and 19% improvement respectively.

The Quest Pro will also benefit from this update, with its CPU performance increasing by 26% and GPU by 11%.

Dynamic Resolution Scaling will be enabled on both VR headsets, allowing games and applications to benefit from a higher pixel density without losing frames.
